Key Responsibilities:

Spearhead the Destination Marketing Strategy for THRS’ Clients

Oversee end-to-end strategic planning and execution across various platforms, including digital, media, and trade

Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge marketing programs and plans aimed at customer attraction

Take charge of the department’s marketing budget management

Provide supervision to the tourism marketing team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance

Oversee the creation of marketing materials for various platforms, including the website and social media accounts

Cultivate and sustain positive customer relationships through social media platforms

Gather industry data and utilise insights to continually enhance and update marketing strategies

Develop and execute daily schedule plans, efficiently allocating duties among team members

Analyse data, optimise paid media activities, and identify trends for maximum ROI in marketing campaigns

Set up attribution models, multi-channel tracking, and establish quality benchmarking

Develop a robust performance reporting framework, analytics, and ROI tracking for all the marketing channels

Drive marketing effectiveness through communication testing, innovation, and active co-creation

Provide strategic insights on landing pages, ad creatives, and other campaign elements like media and trade familiarisations

Position Requisites:

Demonstrated familiarity with the Tourism industry, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Marketing, Tourism, or Public Relations and progressively more responsible experience in destination development and community engagement

Preferred bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Planning, Economic Development, Hospitality, Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communication or a closely related field

Cultivate and manage strong relationships with diverse stakeholders including municipal partners, departments of transportation, local stakeholders, members of the travel/hospitality industry, neighbourhoods, cultural districts, non-profit and community partners

Demonstrated commitment to delivering measurable results and achieving established goals

Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently

Must exhibit sound judgement and discretion in decision-making

Well-organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks

Proficient in data analytical tools

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
